Permissions
Three user permissions live under PC Builds at AdminCP > Groups & permissions > Permissions.
| Permission | Default | Effect |

| Manage own PC builds | Allow | Lets the visitor create and edit their own build at Account > PC build. When revoked, the editor is hidden and existing builds cannot be modified. |
| Upload photos to own PC build | Allow | Lets the visitor add photos to their build. The number of photos and per-photo size are capped by the AdminCP options. |
| View other users' PC builds | Allow | Lets the visitor see other members' build cards on profile pages, in postbit links, and in [pcbuild] BB-code embeds. |
How permissions interact with the postbit option
The Enable PC build link in postbit option at the global level decides whether the postbit-link feature exists at all. With the option off, no member sees a postbit toggle in their preferences.
With the option on, the icon shows up only when:
- The author has Manage own PC builds and has saved a build.
- The author opted in via their preferences.
- The viewer has View other users' PC builds.
