Options overview
All options live at AdminCP > Setup > Options > [MC] Forum Layouts. They are grouped into the sections below.

| Layouts | Default layout, which alternate layouts are enabled, layout toggle. |
| Threads | Default sort order, threads per page, density, navigation style. |
| Stickies | Sticky behaviour and featured stickies. |
| Sidebar | Maximum node depth, hide empty forums. |
| Card view | Topics per card. |
| General | Branding. |
Layouts
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Default forum layout | Table | The layout shown to visitors who have not picked one. Choices: table, fluid, card. |
| Enable fluid view | On | When off, the fluid toggle is hidden and the route does not render the fluid layout. |
| Enable card view | Off | When off, the card toggle is hidden and the route does not render the card layout. |
| Allow layout toggle | On | When off, visitors cannot switch layouts; the configured default is the only layout shown. Combine with the Toggle forum layouts permission for per-group control. |
Threads
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Default sort order | Last post date | The default sort applied when no sort URL parameter is set. Choices: last post date, post date, reply count, view count, first-post reaction score. |
| Threads per page | 20 | Page size for the fluid view. Range 1 to ~200. |
| Thread display density | Compact | Compact or comfortable. Compact maximises density. |
| Navigation style | Load more | Pages, load-more, load-more-then-paginated, or infinite scroll. |
Stickies
| Setting | Default | What it does |

| Sticky thread behavior | Top | How stickies appear in the fluid view. Configured via a custom callback option. |
| Featured stickies | Empty | Per-forum list of thread IDs that stay pinned at the top of the list across pages. |
Sidebar
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Sidebar maximum node depth | 0 | Limits the depth of the node tree shown in the fluid view's sidebar filter. 0 shows every depth. |
| Hide empty forums in sidebar | Off | Removes forums with no threads from the sidebar filter. |
Card view

General
